About the North Hastings Music Festival

The North Hastings Music Festival has offered amateur musicians in the Bancroft area an enhanced music education experience for over 65 years. The non-competitive nature of the festival provides a safe environment where developing musicians of all ages and abilities can perform for an audience and receive feedback from an adjudicator. Adjudicators have a wide variety of backgrounds in performance and music education and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to share.

Musicians can enter selections in Voice, Piano, Winds and Percussion, Fretted and Fretless Strings, and Amped and Mic'd categories. 

The festival runs annually the first week of May and wraps up the following Thursday with the Festival of Stars Awards Gala.
